It’s time to live your best life!

Diabetes sucks. I’m here to help.

For years, I’ve been helping T1Ds and parents of T1Ds step towards a happier and healthier life. 1:1 coaching offers an in-depth and individualized program built just for you and your goals. Past clients have received support in:

  • Achieving time-in-range and A1C goals

  • Meal planning and prepping

  • Increasing carb intake

  • Interpreting CGM graphs and identifying root causes

  • Creating sustainable healthy habits

  • Improving relationship with food, diabetes, and exercise

  • Building muscle/fat loss

  • Preparing for life events (pregnancy, college, etc.)

  • Optimizing technology

  • Mastering mindset work (fear of lows, carbs, highs, insulin)

  • and more!

“After every session I felt encouraged and empowered. Meg provided me a space to be myself and share my experiences with her. I always felt heard and that our sessions were focused on both a high level education but also a deeper dive into my individual needs and struggles with T1D. She has truly changed my life.”

What is coaching?

My coaching programs provide education and an action-oriented approach to holistic diabetes management. I meet you where you are— whether you’re newly diagnosed or 20 years in— and give you the knowledge, support, tools, inspiration, motivation, and accountability to help you on your journey.

From nutrition (beyond just carbs) to insulin, technology, exercise, and more, coaching takes a zoomed-out view of management so you can overcome obstacles and live life with happier sugars and less stress.

Diabetes coaching does not replace professional medical advice and treatment. Always consult with your healthcare provider before making any changes to your diabetes management plan.

The heart of the program is our 6 x 1:1 sessions via zoom designed to deep-dive into topics and breakthrough mental blocks. You may also receive supplementary resources including pre-recorded modules, worksheets, recipes, workouts, and more depending on your goals.

My programs are focused on increasing confidence and building long-term sustainability. My ultimate goal is for you to feel like you’re living your life to the fullest with T1D!

1:1 coaching is open to T1Ds and parents of T1Ds. All genders, ages, diagnosis lengths, and technologies are welcome.

“Before working with Meg I barely saw numbers above 50% time in range. When I did have the miracle >70% TIR, it felt like a fluke that I couldn't reproduce. Now, I've had consecutive days with >90% TIR and it feels intentional and strategic. She's helped me think systematically with my T1D strategies and trust my intuition and experience.”

Employing the limiting beliefs framework to untangle my perspective on food, insulin, and diabetes. Learning about nutrition also helped a ton with approaching complex meals”

I’ve been living with type 1 diabetes since 1999. Throughout my childhood and teen years, I struggled with my acceptance of diabetes which greatly impacted my management. I felt isolated and angry with my diagnosis.

After hitting a rock bottom in 2017, I started on a health journey. After 20 years of being diagnosed with diabetes, how had I still not figured it out?

As it turns out, there was a lot more to diabetes than just counting carbs. After finding success in my own journey, I wanted to help others do the same. I learned all I could about nutrition, exercise, sleep, and stress. I went back to school, got my Master’s in Nutrition and Food Science, and became a Registered Dietitian, Certified Health Coach, and Certified Personal Trainer.

Now I work as a health coach and empower people with type 1 diabetes live happy, healthy, and active lives. Through education, support, and community, my programs and resources have transformed hundreds of lives. I’m beyond grateful to do this work!!

about me!

“My TIR started in the low 60s and I am now in the high 80s and creeping towards over a 90% average week by week! I have more confidence in my health and my choices. I can eat foods again that I was avoiding because I just didn’t understand how to manage them correctly. I feel like I can tackle anything now. Best decision of this year was working with Megan!!”
